| 17/11/02 : Survived shark infested waters | |
Julie and I survived our first forray into the trecherous waters of the Indian Ocean. We had a swim in the sea off Cottesloe Beach along with about 30 other people that didn't seem to mind the threat of numerous monsters that may eat, sting or chew them.
The water was really warm and conditions perfect for body surfing. Temperature was about 25 with a strong wind which made it a little chilly at times.

| 17/11/02 : Whales Ahoy | |
Went whale watching yesterday and saw a small family of Humpback Whales on their annual migration down to their summer feeding grounds in Antartica. We saw 3 whales, A mother with calf and a protecting Nanny. The mother was estimated to be the same weight as the vessel we were in!
We shot lots of photos and some video so these will be placed up here when i get a chance. We also saw a pod of dolphins in the harbour when we were waiting for the boat, making it an even better day.

| 14/11/02 : 2 photos added | |
Only two though as i have little image editing software available, meaning the pics are too big and take ages to load. As you can see from the beach pic we are in a nice part of the world.
Today it was 37 degrees and that was about as hot as we can take. It's only spring for gods sake!! We have been told though that it should be more like 26-28 at this time of year.
More photos to come as and when i get a chance.

| 12/11/02 : Kings Park is great | |
Been to the finest city park in the world today. It's in the middle of Perth yet at times it seems you are wandering through natural bushland in the middle of the continent. Seen loads of crazy birds and lizards but suprisingly few spiders, which was nice!
you can see some images of kings park by going to yahoo australia and New Zealand
will add more as it keeps coming, we're hitting the beach tomorrow so look out for those sharks Julie!
